(941) 876-5200As a native of New Glarus, Wisconsin, she attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Political Science. Recognizing her passion for resolving complex legal situations within the family, she attended and earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the prestigious Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg Florida.
To provide a unique and beneficial experience for her clients, Attorney Boeller went on to earn her Masters of Arts Degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida. In 2013, Mrs. Boeller established Boeller Counseling, LLC, a full-service mental health counseling practice. With this extensive background, she is not only extremely experienced in litigating the very complex matters of family law in the courtroom but also provides a sympathetic, compassionate, and effective approach to every family law matter. Her unique blend of skills provides clients with a more therapeutic transition throughout the legal process.
To add to her myriad of degrees and highly beneficial background serving these various communities, she is also certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Family Law Mediator.
Attorney Boeller began her legal career litigating family law matters at Gulfcoast Legal Aid in Sarasota, Florida. She then went on to practice exclusively in family law in the private sector. Boeller also strives to participate in volunteer activities related to family law including organizations such as the Guardian Ad Litem program.

Alexis Fritsch was born and raised in Sarasota Florida. In 2008, she graduated
Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Criminology, a minor in Anthropology
and a concentration in Psychology from the University of Florida. Alexis
went on to attend Law School at the University of Louisville Brandeis
School and was the co-chair of the Lambda Law Caucus from 2011 to 2012
and graduated in 2012.
She is a licensed member of the Kentucky bar as of 2013 and licensed to practice in the Federal Courts for the Western District of Kentucky.
Attorney Fritsch practiced law in Kentucky at the beginning of her career focusing on family law, estate planning, and bankruptcy. In 2009, Alexis had research that was presented at the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences Annual Meeting in Boston. She went on to have her work published in the June 2013 edition of the Social Sciences Journal “Deviant Behavior.” She had an additional article published in 2014 in an online publication “SAGE Research case methods.”
Since moving back home to the Sunshine state, Attorney Fritsch was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2015 and has joined the Boeller Law Firm where she continues to focus on family law.
Jennifer Burns is a Florida native who is an experienced family law Attorney
practicing in the greater Sarasota area. Prior to receiving her law degree,
Attorney Burns attended the University of South Florida, where she majored
in International Studies, minored in French and graduated in the top ten
percent (10%) of her class. With a passion for the law, and a desire to
help people in need, Attorney Burns attended the prestigious Stetson University
College of Law where she graduated with her
juris doctor. While attending Stetson University College of Law, she received numerous
awards and recognition not only for academic success, but also for providing
significant pro bono services to people in need.
Since leaving law school, Attorney Burns has practiced in both the private sector as well as the public sector as a Senior Attorney with Children’s Legal Services. Attorney Burns has handled a myriad of family law and child welfare cases. Her practice philosophy incorporates a cooperative approach to handling cases if possible, however, she is experienced in complex litigation as well. Attorney Burns handles matters related to paternity actions, dissolutions of marriage, relocation, collaborative actions, timesharing, modifications and enforcement, as well as dependency and contested adoptions with the Department of Children and Families. Attorney Burns is motivated to assist people in need with a compassionate and competent approach.
Since moving to Sarasota, Attorney Burns has been active in the Sarasota community and local bar association. Attorney Burns has served as a Director with the Sarasota County Bar Association, leading efforts to get young lawyers involved in the community and active with local charities. Attorney Burns is currently the Chair of the Family Law Section of the SCBA. She prides herself on giving back to the community and taking an active leadership role amongst her colleagues.
